1 AMB9 Recall Campaign – Reworking brake booster AMB9 Recall Campaign – Reworking brake booster Overview On the affected vehicles, there is a possibility that the screw connection of the pressure input rod of the brake booster was not carried out according to specifications. As a result, the pressure input rod may become detached from the brake booster over the running time of the vehicle. If the pressure input rod is detached, it is not possible to brake the vehicle using the brake pedal. The emergency braking function via the electric parking brake is still available without restriction. To avoid possible detachment of the pressure input rod, the affected bolted joint connection will be checked and, if necessary, the brake booster will be replaced/repaired.
