Information:
This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that positive crankcase ventilation valves that have a burr on their covers due to the use of an incorrect tool were installed on the affected vehicles.
This can cause the bleeder valve diaphragm to tear.
If the diaphragm is torn, this can result in an implausible mass air flow at idle speed, resulting in noises from the engine compartment and activation of the Check Engine light.
Action Required:
Replace positive crankcase ventilation valves.
