AF01 – Replacing Lower Suspension Arms for Front Axle – 2015 Porsche 918

SUMMARY:

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain model year 2015 Porsche 918 vehicles manufactured February 25, 2014, to September 18, 2014.

The front lower control arms may fracture.

 

CONSEQUENCE:

The fracture of a lower control arm while the vehicle is being driven increases the risk of a crash.

 

REMEDY:

Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front lower control arms, free of charge.

The recall began on May 29, 2015.

Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243.

Porsche’s number for this recall is AF01.

Note: Owners are advised not to drive their vehicle until it has been remedied.
